Here at The Boating Emporium, we also have a range of boat parts you can invest on whether you want to furnish or upgrade your prized boat. Our products range from marine galley ranges, cooktops, freezers, fridges, and water heaters.
Marine galley ranges are different from household ranges. They are equipped with safety features like secured latches so that oven doors can’t be forced open by the weight of containers when the boat goes to and fro. They also operate on 30-dgree angle, and may use different types on different fuels or electric power to operate.
These ranges are made from materials like stainless steel, to avoid rusting even after a long time.
Marine cooktops, generally, are stoves that do not come with ovens attached to them. Just like galley ranges, marine cooktops can be powered by different combustible fuels like propane, butane, CNG, and even with electricity. These cooktops are also made from stainless steel to avoid rusting, and usually installed with thermocouple gas shut off and electronic ignition for onboard safety.

Marine refrigerators have five elements: the compressor, condenser, expansion valve, evaporator, and a refrigerant. A thermostat controls the fridge’s temperature. They are generally the same size of a personal refrigerator, but of course, the size of one’s boat will determine what size fridge it can accommodate. The demands of your fridge will also differ based on what type of boating you do, how much time you spend on the boat, and even the climate.
Marine freezers, on the other hand, are portable compressor-driven freezers that are capable of freezing up to 0°F. Some freezers are built-in, while some can be replaced and removed.

Marine water heaters are not the same as the heaters you have at home. They usually generate water from the main engine heat exchanger or a 110V powering the heat element. While the boat is operating, the heat from the heat exchanger transfers through the coils in the water heater. These coils heat the water inside the heater. The 110V heating element, on the other hand, is lowered down inside the heater itself. It can be charged through shore power or by an on-board generator.
